To all our family and friends!
Nothing summarizes 2008 better than the sticker we put on the back of the annual Christmas card. We are not in our normal form, and needing a couple more hours in the day while the kids are sleeping! If that is what got you to navigate to our blog, WELCOME! If you are one of the few regular readers whom has thought the blog has turned into political banter with pictures of the kids mixed in, THANKS FOR COMING BY! This is our little corner in the internet world!
We are now a party of 5! Welcoming Tatum Ann Canada into the world Sept. 2, 6:20pm, 8lbs 6oz, 20.5inches long. She was halfway into the world when she started vocalizing her presence! She came with a set of pipes and a little bit of colic. Just recently she has started to relax and interact with us in ways other than a blood curdling scream, lol! We are now enjoying the cutest little giggle and laugh! She also has found a comforting friend in her thumb...
Lakyn will be turning 2 on the upcoming Valentines Day. She has been a very sweet sister to Tatum. On the other hand, she went right into her terrible two's when we brought Tatum home. They will be such good friends and playmates when they get a little older (we hope!) She loves all things Elmo, singing, dancing, unwrapping ANYTHING that is wrapped, and candy (she has her Mom's taste-buds.) Her favorite movie is "Annie."
Work-wise, Jason is still flying for Continental Airlines on the Boeing 737, based in Cleveland. Lindsey is full-time raising the kids AND keeping her hand in medical transcription (always seems to be more work than she can take!)
We are still in Michigan, and have been digging out from about a foot of snow! The "for sale" sign hasn't moved in almost 2 years. The market is stagnant, and our home's value is drastically down. We wanted to move back south to get closer to all the grandparents, but for now that doesn't seem to be God's will. We are fine with that. The Cleveland base is a little over 2 hrs away, so we are managing! It could be a lot worse!
Here are some links to some events from the year:
Lakyn's 1st Birthday
Lakyn gets stitches
Our 6th wedding anniversary
Tatum's gender stayed a mystery until delivery

As always we love to hear how you are doing! Please call, write, text, whatever -ANYTIME! We pray 2009 will be a blessed year for you!
