Some musings

So when did McDonald's start charging for sauces??? -or- is this just a one store problem?? They actually have a "sauce rationing chart" posted in the drive-thru window.. our chicken sandwich was allotted zero sauces, so when we asked for honey mustard and sweet 'n sour she asked for 32 more cents.

Lakyn gets a little smarter, so we have to get smarter. No more questions like, "What is that?" She is now calling everything "that that that."

Since my tangible 6th anniversary gift was a card and bag of cotton candy (sour patch cotton candy,) yeah we had a do-over. This time at Lowes, she got anniversary and Mother's Day (yep I already punched that ticket) in one stop! She has been asking for an outdoor fire pit for almost 2 years... cha ching! On the way out the door with fire [it in hand, my bride spotted a Lakyn sized cast iron and wood park bench with animals in the iron. It was very cute. I watched all the emotional stuff, decide it was a real want, and then went to look for the stock. The display was the last one, and that sealed the deal (M.D. check!)

This weekend, weather permitting, we are going to Holland, MI for the tulip time festival.
