Remodeling... not in a good way

Part of the transition of Lakyn to a "big girl" bed meant a little furniture change. Jason's mattress from college is a full and has been down in the basement. We had a queen in the guest bedroom that is now Lakyn's room. In the process of taking the queen box spring to the basement we learned of the limitation of our basement stairs. We took the basement door off the hinges to get all the wiggle room. To no avail, we got it wedged in. Lakyn was playing in the basement trapped. Jason was on the landing trying to coax it around the corner and Lindsey was on the main floor with Tatum who was screaming to eat. In the end Lindsey strapped on her shoes and started kicking. Yes we damaged the box spring, but we put a real nice hurt on the walls. In the end it did make it down in one piece. We did get real close to needing the saw to cut it out when finally we decided to play rough which luckily worked.. well sort of.

By the way, it is a Canada trait to make more projects/work when trying to complete a simple project/task.
