From warm sand to cold snow

We just got back home two nights ago after traveling down south for four weeks. We had such a blast seeing family and friends. We still, however, didn't get to see everyone. We also got a week for ourselves at the beach. It was nice to enjoy some warm weather before heading home. We were welcomed home by about 10 inches of snow. It is beautiful but sure is cold! Lakyn loved playing in the sand at the beach, but unfortunately the gloves she had to wear didn't allow her to enjoy the snow as much! She did enjoy tasting the snow and playing for about 10 minutes in it before it got too cold. Gidget on the other hand loves the snow! She begs to go outside all day long. All that fur keeps her warm. We don't think the snow will be melting anytime soon so we are looking forward to a white Christmas! We will try to get more pics up from our four week trip soon.
