Happy Fourth of July

We started our day driving to a family reunion on my grandmother's side. I haven't been able to attend it in about 7 years since being away from the south. It was good to hang out with family and see some extended family who I haven't seen in a while. The girls had a great time playing with cousins.

We drove back to Nashville and enjoyed Franklin's TN firework show from the back of Grandpa's truck. We had a great picnic with Grandma and Grandpa. The girls loved the fireworks. Because of rain the fireworks were set off early at 8:30 instead of the planned 9:30. We were very thankful for the earlier time with two tired kiddos.
